Natalie serves as an advisor and partner to clients seeking to sharpen and articulate their justice-focused impact, crowd-in coalitions of support, and reduce risk of harm to people and planet through their investments.

Natalie’s work is grounded in her three decades in pursuit of justice alongside Indigenous People and traditional communities, grassroots and international organizations in every world region, and international institutions. Natalie’s practice is based on respect-based values, rigor, a focus on clarity and impact, and a commitment to the principles of trust-based philanthropy.

Natalie’s clients include individual philanthropists, family offices, and foundations.

Services include:

  • Strategy consulting: supporting clients to maximize impact by clarifying goals and articulating strategies to achieve them. 

    Coalition-building: supporting clients’ organizing to increase interest-aligned formal and informal donor collaboration. 

    ‘Do No Harm’ Risk reviews: evaluation of philanthropic or mission investing portfolios to explore and address potential risk of harm or greenwashing related to direct project investments in Global Majority nations.
