I support boards of directors and leadership teams in practices and policies that reflect good governance. I work with boards, executive directors, leadership teams, and philanthropic supporters to ensure that organizations have internal grounding in the values they promote, and policies and practices that allow focus on the mission.

This work can include support for:

• nonprofit board and organizational policy and procedure development (piecemeal or full suite), 

• internal communications tools to improve transparency and effectiveness, 

• nonprofit board reporting and board-team communications tools, 

• design of monitoring, learning, and evaluation (MEL) systems,

• risk assessment and safety and security policies and procedures,

• due diligence processes (see Accountability), and

• grievance and accountability policy and procedures (see Accountability).
